Where have I been? and an update

I’m sorry I’ve been missing from the blog sphere for the last few weeks. My life has been absolutely crazy lately. As I mentioned in some earlier posts I have health/gallbladder issues. A few weeks ago I ended up getting a really bad attack. I haven’t had an attack like that in about a year. It hit me really hard. With all the stress I’ve been under lately It was not a huge surprise to me. I ended up being sick for a week. Which, was actually a blessing because at times I’ve been bed ridden for a month at a time. Luckily, it took a week and still not feeling 100% but I am able to regain normal activates. So, I will be catching up on blog posts as well
as reading your blogs and commenting.

I kept seeing 11:11. I actually saw it three times this week. I know it has a spiritual significance but I couldn’t remember what it means when we see the same numbers over and over again. According to Doreen Virtue when you see a sequence of numbers over and over again you have to look back at what you were thinking about at that moment. It means that is your guardian angels or whatever you believe in is guiding you. They are trying to show you if you are on the right path or not. I took this as a good sign that things are moving according to plan in my life. Especially, since I saw it three times this week. And I usually never see this sequence of numbers.

I am still reading The happiness Project. It is actually taking me awhile to get through. It is not a hard book to read and it is not a really long book. When, I started reading this I thought it was going to be about how she made a profound life change. For example I love Eat, Pray, Love. How a woman was going through a depression and realized she hated her life and she did something about it. She took a journey. I think everyone can take some form of this journey. For me eating was eating better and healthy foods for my body. My pray is doing yoga and practicing my spirituality. Which, I realized I’ve stepped back from as of late. When I read this book it always reminds me to get back to it. Love is about learning to love yourself and love who you are.  I also love Wild by Cheryl Strayed. I’ve read that book quite a few times and want to read it again before the movie comes out. She was a drug addict and going through a depression and decided to hike it all out. We don’t need to do something quite as drastic as Elizabeth Gilbert or Cheryl Strayed. But, reading The Happiness Project her life is nothing compared to the other two authors. I think everyone can use a bit more happy but most of the things I already know and already do on a daily basis. I don’t think it has a profound life lesson in it.

Last night I made tacos and home made Guacamole. This is actually one of my favorite dishes to make. The guacamole actually turned out pretty awesome for it being my first time making it. Plus, it was fresh and you could tell that. Then me and my mom watched Divergent. I really liked the movie and loved the premise. That we can change our destiny and make our own future. I can’t wait to see the other movies and will probably have to pick up the books to read now to find out what happens next.

I went to my TimeHop account today and saw this quote I posted 4 years ago. At the time I had a lot going on. I posted this to remind myself that even though times are hard things will eventually get better. After Hearing about Robin Williams Death this past week I saw this quote. I thought it was worth posting. As a reminder to myself and anyone else that things always get better.

So glad you're on the mend and starting to feel like yourself again. I've noticed that several of us (myself included) have taken time away for one reason or another. Glad to see you back. Xo
