Love With Food September 2014

Love With Food is a monthly subscription box that sends organic, natural, and gluten-free foods. They have three different options: The regular tasting box for $12 dollars a month, the Deluxe box for $25 dollars and the Gluten-free box for $25 dollars.

This month’s Theme was Spice up your life. I love spices and foods with a little bit of a kick. I am not a huge fan of foods that are super spicy or salty. This box was probably not my favorite but I still enjoyed this box. And I got use out of most of the items in the box.

Simply So Sweet Chili Tortilla Chips
By Way Better Snacks:
At first I was afraid these would be too spicy for me. But, they were not. They had just enough of a kick but did not kill my taste buds like some spicy foods can do. They didn’t taste super salty either which I also do not like in some snacks like popcorn and chips. I can see myself purchasing these in the future.

Lemon Rosemary Seasoning
By Fogg City Spice Co.:
I haven’t tried the seasoning yet. I do have some chicken that needs to be cooked so I will use it with that. Seasoning is always a good way to dress up any dish and add some more flavoring. But, I am not a huge spice person when it comes to cooking. So, I’ll have to see how this works out.

Hemp Rules Roasted Hemp Seeds
By Ziggy Marley Organics:
I haven’t tried these yet. I don’t think I’ve ever actually tried hemp seeds before. I was thinking I could add these to a salad to dress it up. I don’t think I would want to eat them alone.

Green Superfood
By Amazing Grass:
I am a fan of the green drink. I do usually drink a green drink because even though they don’t always taste so great they are loaded with health benefits. I joke that I usually get my greens from my drinks and my kale chips. I think this was okay. I mean it’s healthy so it’s not going to taste like a vanilla milkshake. But, I could see myself drinking this.

5 Spice Caramels
By Shotwell Candy Co:
This was probably my favorite thing in the box. I ate the caramels first and they were spicy enough but not hot spicy. They were absolutely delicious. I would buy these for myself or as a gift around the holidays.

Maruso Ghost Soy Sauce
By Maruso:
I haven’t tried the soy sauce either. I promise I will update on the things that I haven’t tried in my blog. It seems like it might be spicy but I plan on adding it to a stir fry.

Rich Chocolate Cookie Thins by Mandy’s:
I loved these! At first I expected it to be like a regular cookie. But, they really are thins. I shared them with my mom and we both thought they were great. They definitely helped with the chocolate cravings.

Churro Kettle Corn By Love with Food:
I am not a huge popcorn fan. But, when I do eat popcorn it’s kettle corn. I really liked they added cinnamon for sweetness. I didn’t taste much salt which is good or not so good depending on how you look at it. If I enjoyed popcorn more I probably would have enjoyed this snack more.

Overall, it was a good box. Not my favorite. But, I will have to try the rest of the products and see how I like those.

I love kettle corn too. I've tried this box out a couple times during their inception, but I think they have improved with time. I love spicy food (I'm Indian).

This is my Third Love with Food Box. This one was not my favorite like I said. But, they do give you a lot of goodies. I think it is well worth the $12 dollars. My mom really likes the food too. If she keeps eating my snacks I might have to switch to the bigger box LOL. I love spices as well. I'm not a big fan of pepper or too much salt though.
