I’ve had so many things I’ve wanted to do through the ages.
When I was younger I wanted to be an Actress and Dancer just like my Grandma. My grandma was not a famous actress but she had some interesting jobs. She was a model/weather girl/ballet dancer/and actress. I used to put on plays for her, my mom, and Godfather. They thought it was wildly entertaining. I remember my favorite movie was Grease. I would reenact that movie a thousand times a day. Sandy was the girl I wanted to be and Danny was my perfect guy. I remember auditing for the role of Sandy at my summer camp. It was my dream come true. Sadly, I didn’t get the part because I was taller then the guy. Even though I was the better choice. I had all the lines memorized and had been practicing for that role on my own for a very long time. As I got older I eventually took acting classes. It was a well known acting school. I can even imagine me the girl with anxiety and being so shy acting in front of all these people. I even did improv. It was nerve racking but it also felt like my element. However, I never pursued a career in it.
Then I wanted to be a veterinarian. I have loved Animals since I was a little girl. I still love animals. I’ve never lived without a cat, dog, hamster, or goldfish. Sometimes all of these animals at once. The goldfish were not that exciting but I loved my cats, dogs, and hamsters. I think being a veterinarian is a very noble job. Someone has to help animals when they get sick. But, I was not a fan of all the schooling it would take. About the same as being a human doctor. And I suck at math.
I wanted to be a Lawyer. . It does not take as much schooling as being a doctor so that would be doable. Then I thought about being a divorce lawyer.
I thought about being a baker. I love cooking and baking. It is very therapeutic for me. When I’m having a bad day I love to try a new recipe or make a dessert.
I currently work in Retail. Do I enjoy it not so much. Sometimes people can be really rude even when you are just trying to help them. You always need to be on top of your game which I have no problem with. I am always working on various projects at a time. It can be slow and other days it is very fast paced. I don’t mind that either. But, it is not something I can see myself doing for the rest of my life.
My Dream Job is to be a Makeup Artist. The last few months I’ve gotten back into makeup. I love it. I forgot how it can completely raise a woman’s confidence. What you look like on the outside is not the most important thing but helping someone raise their confidence so they can feel better about themselves is important to me. I know when I put my makeup on it raises my confidence. I’ve always wanted to do something were I can support and encourage other women. Plus, to me makeup is just fun. I love trying new looks and experimenting.
I also want to be a writer. I’ve been working on a book for a few years now. With some challenges I’ve faced these last few years I kind of put my writing on the back burner. However, getting back to blogging has helped me to remember how much I loved to write. I don’t know if I will ever be a pro-blogger but I think it would be fun. It is something I’ve become immensely passionate about. And I love meeting new people. I’ve made so many friends through blogging. It is nice to be able to encourage others as well as receive encouragement yourself.

You have been working on a book? What kind of book? That is really cool. I have never wanted to be a writer but I like doing it for blogging!
Makeup was something I always kept pretty simple and never spent a lot of time playing around with so I am glad there are people like you to be an artist for people like me!

I started writing my book about four years ago. I really started writing it after having a hard time and I started writing it about my spiritual journey. I am still working on it. It got kind of was put on the back burner for awhile. But, I'm getting back to writing it. I also have a few ideas for some other books as well.
I forgot how much I loved makeup until a few months ago. Now, it's my passion. Besides helping other people especially women gain confidence in themselves.

I used to consider myself pretty good with makeup…until YouTube. Now, even though I don't consider myself an "artist" or "guru", I still enjoy experimenting with different looks and products. It's also one of the reasons I joined Younique – to make money selling makeup and having a chance to practice my skills on others.

Youtube really got me inspired to try new makeup looks and taught me about things that I had no idea about. Before Youtube I was like "why do I want to wear bronzer? Now I love wearing bronzer. I plan on starting a youtube channel by the end of this month. I already have it set up but haven't posted much. I am not a beauty guru or makeup artist although like I wrote I would love to be a professional makeup artist one day. It has become my passion. I think it is awesome that you decided to sell Younique.
