August 2014 Birchbox

Laura Geller Beauty Cool lids cream Eyeshadow:
This month we had a chance to pick what we wanted to add to our box. We also got this opportunity last month but I missed out on it. This month I picked my product early to make sure I would get it. I have heard of Laura Geller products but never had the chance to try them before. I got the silver eyeshadow in Silver Sands. I wanted this because first of all I’ve only tried one other cream eyeshadow. Secondly, I don’t have any silver eyeshadow. I love this color! it is shimmery but not glittery. It doesn’t make me look like I’m going to a disco ball. I wore it during the day and I think it flattered my outfit. You can also transition this to a night out on the town. It lasted all day as well without having to touch it up. 

Neil George Shampoo and Conditioner:
 I normally am not a fan of getting shampoo and conditioners in my Birchbox. To me that is something I would rather choose myself. At least Birchbox sent a good size sample and forgone those awful foil packets. It has a nice clean scent and is not overpowering. I hate shampoos that smell like perfume. 

Nugg Beauty Revitalizing mask:
I am actually excited about trying this product. I am not a big mask person. I have a very simple skincare routine. It’s pretty much washing my face and putting on a moisturizer. I don’t like using too many products on my face because of my sensitive skin. So, I will have to see how this fares with my skin.
