I actually had two birthday cakes. Both were small 5″ celebration cakes. Also known as baby cakes. I loved this pink one with the pink rose with buttercream frosting. You can’t go wrong with a traditional yellow cake and buttercream frosting.
I am in love with this Oreo cake. I recently tried an ice cream Oreo cake from Dairy Queen for my niece’s birthday, which was delicious. I’ve wanted to try this regular oreo cake for a while now and figured my 36th birthday was the perfect time to try it. Next year I am splurging and getting a large Oreo cake. My husband is not fond of chocolate but he loved this cake.
I actually had two birthday celebrations. On the night before my actual birthday with my family and then the next day on my actual birthday with my husband’s family. We were getting ready to go out with my family in this picture.
We went to a Greek restaurant. It was delicious and one of my favorite places to eat. I got the combo platter which is a combination of the Greek favorites. I wish I had taken pictures but no one in my family is really picture oriented.
We went to Olive Garden with my husband’s family. We ordered calamari for an appetizer and got breadsticks with all the dips. My favorite was the Alfredo dipping sauce and the Mariana with the cheese. I ordered the Seafood Alfredo for dinner. With the shrimp and scallops. And my husband and I got Tiramisu for dessert.
I really enjoyed my birthday and enjoyed spending it with my husband and family.
