I went thrift shopping! Want to know what I found? This is Part 1 of my #4 series.

I went thrifting the other day at Goodwill after not being able to go since February. It was so nice to be able to get back into my thrifting habit and find some items to list on eBay, Poshmark, Mecari, and Etsy.

These are only a few of the items I found. I will be adding more once I get them unpacked and take pictures of them. I also bought a lot of clothes so I’m sure there will be a post about that as well.

One of the first things I found was this M.Z Austria underplate with scalloped edges and pink roses. When I picked it up I somehow missed that it was an underplate. Which, I should have known from the indent on it that something went on top of it. If I had known it was an underplate I probably would have looked for the mayonnaise bowl that went on top or I would have left it behind. I still think it would make a great trinket tray and it is still a beautiful piece.

I found these Anchor Hocking Fire King white swirl salad/soup bowls with gold rims. I am guessing these were probably from the 1950s-1960s based on the swirl pattern. They are very heavy so I know shipping will probably be a lot for them. They do have a lot of gold ware sadly and scratches but I couldn’t leave them behind. Oftentimes I feel like I am rescuing items. I always hope they will find a good home and not end up at the bins or worse the landfill.

I really want to go to the bins one day. Sadly, there is only one in Illinois and it is about 4 hours away. So, that would have to be a mini vacation. One in Wisconsin and Indiana is actually a little closer. I would love to take a day trip or a few days’ trips and get to the bins. That is something on my list to do in the future for sure.

I found three Dinner plates in the Butterfly Gold by Corelle. This pattern has sold for me before but it can be a little hit or miss depending on the item. But, I still enjoy picking it up. Of course, I wish I had found a fourth plate to make a complete set. I also found saucers but ended up putting them back since I couldn’t find the cups.

I also found these Corelle bread/salad plates in the Country Cornflower pattern. I’ve never gotten this pattern before so I don’t know how well it will sell. But, I thought it was such a pretty pattern and there was a set of 4. I hope to get at least 12 dollars for these.

I almost passed up these Rae Dunn plates. I had a pitcher that I had bought and it sat for a while but it finally found its home. So, I don’t think Rae Dunn is as hot as it used to be. But, I will still pick it up if I find it. Because I enjoy the pieces and even though they are newer I know there are still people who collect Rae Dunn items. Although, this is not a unique piece I still think it will be fun to sell. Or keep them if they don’t sell.

I’ll be adding more items next week to my sites and showing you what I got on the blog. This was as far as I got yesterday after mailing out packages. I also did take a video but sadly it didn’t turn out as well as I hoped. And since I am super picky I don’t think I will be posting it. But, it is my goal to restart my Youtube channel with my reselling adventures, unboxings, and vlogs.
